LIVE Guided Fixed Full Arch Implant Surgery (L504)

Register

This two-day program will be a combination of lecture, discussion, and live full arch surgery, where the participants will complete an all-on-x treatment in one arch with the assistance of an over the shoulder mentor. The live patient portion will consist of a guided surgical aspect, which may include extractions, alveoplasty, implant placement, and a restorative component that will include the placement of multi-unit abutments, temporary cylinders, and the delivery of a 3D-printed immediate screw-retained prosthesis. The lecture portion of the course will include diagnosis and treatment planning in a digital workflow of example patients from start to finish facially generating the treatment plan to establish tooth position and adequate bone reduction to create vertical space for the prosthesis the patient desires. Each participant will treat one full arch using a guided surgical approach.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Master the art of diagnosing and treatment planning tooth position for terminal dentition patients as it relates to the face, the patients current bone position, and to help determine implant depth for final prosthetic height guidelines

  • Identify vertical space requirements and review restorative designs available for full arch implant supported prosthetics

  • Discuss removable versus fixed full arch options, including bar and restorative design

  • Compare and contrast multi-unit and locator abutments

  • Observe and perform teeth-in-a-day style treatment, alveoplasty, guided implant placement, and prosthetic conversion through lecture and live surgery
