This course provides a comprehensive examination of the complications associated with dental implants, including surgical, prosthetic, and biological issues. Participants will learn to identify, diagnose, treatment plan, and manage these complications effectively, ensuring improved patient outcomes and enhanced clinical skills in their practice. A range of issues will be explored, from early failures and peri-implantitis to biomechanical complications and patient-related factors, and strategies like accelerated wound healing with autologous growth factors will be discussed. Through a combination of lectures, case studies, and hands-on workshops, students will develop a deeper understanding of the complexities involved in dental implant procedures and the necessary skills to mitigate risks and address complications effectively.
