Chandur Wadhwani is a fulltime prosthodontist in private practice Belleveu Wa, specializing in implant restoration. He holds adjunct assistant professor appointments in graduate prosthodontics at Loma Linda University and Washington University, and is an Associate professor in periodontics at Oregon Health Sciences University. He is a reviewer for many journals, including J. Prosthodontics, JOMI, CIDRR, CIOR, Implant Dentistry, Decisions in Dentistry and others.
His research has received multiple awards from the Academy of Osseointegration, Pacific Coast Society of Prosthodontists, Canadian Restorative Academy, American Prosthodontic Society. He received the prestigious “Distinguished Lecturer” award from the American College of Prosthodontics in 2018.
He has published well over 100 articles related to implants with a focus on health screening, longevity, and risk management and best practices.
Currently, he is a trustee at the FOR (foundation for Oral rehabilitation) where he is co-chair of the scientific committee and a council member of the emerging leaders group. FOR is a non-profit foundation sponsored by Nobel Biocare, with the express goal of providing education, science and Humanity across the globe to improve the quality and care of implant dentistry for all of our patients.
